RESOLUTION 2004-47
A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
GREENCASTLE AUTHORIZING AN EXTENSION FOR TIME OF
REPAYMENT OF THE TEMPORARY LOAN FROM EDIT FUND
WHEREAS, The Greencastle Common Council passed Resolution 2004-26, A
Resolution Authorizing a Temporary Loan from the EDIT Fund for the City of
Greencastle General Fund; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution specifies repayment of this temporary loan by
December 31, 2004; and
WHEREAS, The Greencastle Common Council declares an emergency due to
Fall Property Tax Distribution in Putnam County delayed until January 2005; and
WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has obligations to make debt service
payments, account payable payments and payroll; and
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, the Greencastle Common Council
extends repayment of the above temporary loan until June 30, 2005 or until the Fall
Property Tax Distribution in Putnam County has been received by the City of
Greencastle.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle
at the Special Meeting this 27th day of December, 2004.
