RESOLUTION NO. %l -
RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED AND
ORDERING PREPARATION OF PROPOSED ASSESSMENT
WHEREAS, a contract has been let for the improvement of Fern Street
as it abuts Lots 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12, Block 7, and Lots 15, 16, 19 and
the E. 20 ft. of Lot 20, Block 2, Independence Beach, Hennepin County,
and the expenses to be incurred in the making of said improvement amount
to $ '/10.4Oe , so that the total cost of the improvement will be
$ //Y 1q
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Medina, Minnesota, as follows:
1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed
is hereby declared to be $ // gip. oo .
2. The City Clerk with the assistance of the City Engineer,
McCombs Knutson, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount
to be specially assessed for such improvement against every
assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district
affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law,
and the Clerk shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in
the Clerk's office for public inspection.
3. The Clerk shall, upon completion of such proposed assessment,
notify the Council thereof.

whereupon the said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
