AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR
APPRAISAL CONSULTING SERVICES IN CONJUNCTION
WITH THE TAX ASSESSOR'S OFFICE
WHEREAS, the Borough IS III need of professional property tax appeal appraisal
services; and
WHEREAS, Sidney Land, Inc. possesses the requisite knowledge, training, experience
and professional license to provide said services, and has submitted a proposal to perform
said services at a total cost not to exceed $10,000.00; add
WHEREAS, the Borough's Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for this purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
ofCarteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. Sidney Land, Inc. is hereby retained to provide professional property tax
appeal appraisal services at a total cost not to exceed $10,000.00 is hereby
approved.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A 40A:11-5(l)(a) and the Borough's fair and open
process established according to law.
Adopted this 15th day of February, 2007
and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 16, 2007.

And the Borou2h of Carteret, a municipal corporation, having its Principal office at the
Borough Hall, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
As per Resolution Number 07-77.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following:
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE TAX APPEALS APPRAISAL.
NOT TO EXCEED $10,000.00
According to the terns set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set forth in
Resolution.

caused these presents to be signed by their proper corporate officers and their corporate
