Mr. Maley reported that he had made a survey of parking fees in the neighboring municipalities and determined that our rates are the same as theirs, for long -term parking, with the exception of the fact that they issue monthly permits at further reduced rates in remote parking areas. He felt that there would be no advantage in increasing our rates to raise addi- tional revenue. Mr. Anderson told the Council that the Contempt Order in the Giblin suit is still on record and it was Council's opinion that he try to dispose of the matter. Mr. Maley told the Council that Kendall Fill and Dredge Company, the low bidder on the groins, was having trouble purchasing the liability insurance called for in the contract which carried the same limits as the original project bids.
