MOTION 2024-008
I move pursuant to Va. Code Section § 2.2-3711(A)(8) of the Code of Virginia and §
2.2-3711(A)(3) of the Code of Virginia that the Leesburg Town Council convene in a
closed meeting for the purpose of consultation with legal counsel and briefings by staff
members regarding specific legal matters related to the annexation in the JLMA
where such consultation in open session would adversely affect the negotiating or
litigating posture of the Town.
