` disseminated. to the .Lynwood` community,' Lynwood `n Perspective has been published

V~IHEREAS,.Lynwood `n Perspectivefeatures~timely information about~city

services, programs and events that is beneficial to the entire communty; arid, ,
. ~ WHEREAS, Lynwood `ri Perspective has gained popularity becoming a English
and Spanish publication in 1998; and
{ WHEREAS, because of the'limited amount of space -provided in a four-page
newsletter, oftentimes pertinent information of interest to the community cannot be
-included in the issue of the time span in which it happens, or is omitted altogether; and
WHEREAS; the expansion to a~six-page' newsletter allows .for residents to receive f
. more printed information about the community on a monthly basis; and.
", WHEREAS, staff has obtained sufficient price quotes from vendors regarding the
printing of the newsletter; and .
`' WHEREAS, alter review of each vendor, it was determined that Mybar Printing, .
Ine., was the lowest price quota, but could also provade quality printing, meeting the ,~'
. ~ standard. Lynwood `ri Perspective is noted for; arid'

Perppective (12 issues); at a cast not to exceed $27,120.00.

Section l . The City Council does hereby authorize entering into an agreement
between the City of.Lyriwood and Nlybar Printing, Inc. for printing twelve issues of the
. City's monthly newsletter for a total cost not to exceed $27;120.
Section 2: This resolution. shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
