A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF McCALL, IDAHO,
THE ANNUAL RESOLUTION FOR 1993 RELATING TO THE CHARGE MADE
FOR CONNECTION TO THE CITY WATER SYSTEM.
WHEREAS MCC 6-4-050 requires the Mayor and Council by resolution to determine the
connection charge to the City Water System annually,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the.City of McCall that:
Section 1. The value of the City Water System, calculated as required by MCC 6-4-050,
is found to be $1,712,364, and the number of potential connectors to it is found to be
2,452. Thus the buy-in for the existing system is found to be$698.35 per connection.
Section 2. Section 1 of Resolution 21-92, as amended by the 1992 connection charge
resolution (30-92), is further amended to read as follows, effective on and after January
1, 1994:
That the charge for installing a water connection to a service location that has not
paid an initial water connection charge in the past, shall be$1,000 $1,350, cr
actual labor and material plus$450- $650, whichever is greater, and in either case
per dwelling unit or commercial unit, of which $450 $700 per dwelling unit or
commercial unit shall be paid into and held and administered as part of the Water
Capital Improvements Fund. The number of units shall be determined as
follows:
in the case of condominium development,by the number of separately
described occupable units according to the declaration and survey plans;
in the case of multifamily housing, by the number of kitchens: and
in the case of premises with more than one commercial occupant and in
the case of hotels and motels, by the City Council on the basis of
equivalent single family residential units as is done with reference to
sewer service connection fees.
Section 3. Resolution 30-92, the 1992 annual resolution, is replaced by this resolution
and shall as of January 1, 1994 be of no further force and effect.

THE SPECIAL BOND ELECTION HELD ON AUGUST 31, 199s, —
OF SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED ELECTORS OF THE CITY THE QUEST1ULN
THE ISSUANCE OF REVENUE BONDS OF THE CITY "IN THE AMOUNT OF
$9,991, 000
WHEREAS, a special bond election was duly held on Tuesday,
August 31, 1993, for the purpose of submitting to the qualified
electors of the City of McCall (the "City") the question of whether
or not the City should be authorized to issue its revenue bonds in
the principal amount of $9,991, 000, to pay the cost of acquiring
and constructing certain capital improvements and betterments to
the City's domestic water system, as set forth in Ordinance No. 635
of the City, adopted on June 24, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the judge and clerks 'of the election have conducted
the election and made their return in the manner provided by law;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to canvass the votes and
to declare the results of the election.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MCCALL, IDAHO, as follows:
Section 1: ELECTION
The special bond election of August 31, 1993, was duly and
regularly called, noticed, held, and conducted, the votes cast
thereat received and canvassed, and the returns thereof made in the
time, form, and manner required by law and by the ordinances,
resolutions, and proceedings taken by the City.
Section 2 : NOTICE OF ELECTION
Notice of the election was duly and legally given prior to
said election by the publication of an appropriate notice in the
official newspaper of the City once a week on the same day of the
week for two (2) successive weeks.
Section 3 : POLLS
The polls of said election were opened at 8: 00 o'clock A.M. on
August 31, 1993, and remained open continuously until closed at the
hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M. , at the voting place duly provided by
Ordinance No. 635.

Section 4: QUALIFIED ELECTORS
Only persons who were, on August 31, 1993, qualified electors
of the City, within the meaning of Article 6, Section 2, Idaho
Constitution, and Section 50-413 , Idaho Code, eighteen (18) years
of age or older, and who were bona fide residents of the City, duly
registered to vote therein, were permitted to vote at said
election, and no person qualified to vote at said election was
refused the right to vote.
Section 5: BALLOTS
The ballots used at said election were in the form prescribed
by law. A sample ballot, in the form prescribed by law, was
published in the official newspaper of the City within the time and
in the manner provided by law.
Section 6: CANVASS
The City Council has examined the returns of the election and
hereby canvasses said returns and declares the results of the
election on the proposition of whether or not the City of McCall,
Idaho, should issue its revenue bonds in the amount of $9,991, 000,
for the purposes stated in Ordinance No. 635, adopted on June 24,
1993 .
The total number of votes cast at said election for and
against the proposition was as follows: Total votes cast,
4/3.7 ; votes for, a7(0 ; votes against, /6/
Section 7: AUTHORIZATION TO PROCEED
Upon canvass, it is found that the requisite majority of the
votes so cast at the special bond election were cast in the
affirmative; that the proposition on the issuance of revenue bonds
in the principal amount of $9,991, 000 duly passed; that said
election was held and conducted in compliance with the law; and
that the City is authorized to proceed with the authorization and
issuance of said bonds as specified in said proposition.
Section 8: RATIFICATION
All actions taken by the City in connection with said special
bond election, the publication of notice thereof, the preparation
and printing of ballots and sample ballots used at the election,

and all other matters connected therewith, are hereby in all
( respects ratified, approved, and confirmed.
