APPROVING A C®NTRACT AMENDMENT FOR CLERKIN & CLERKIN, IN THE ~.
.AMOUNT OF $30,00.0.00 FOR ADDITIONAL DESIGN WORK ON THE CITY HALL
ANNEX REHABILITATION PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 5-51'89;FISCAL YEAR
'. 1999-2000, AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE THE
. CONTRACT AMENDMENT ORDER".

{ , WHEREAS, the City-Hall Annex Rehabilitation Project, Projecf'Number 5-.5189
' is scheduled' for completion during FY .1999-2000; and' ~ ~ , .
„ ~ WHEREAS, the City Hall Rehabilitation Project is funded by the Revenue Bond
funds; and ,. ~ ~ . .
.; WHEREAS, a contract was awarded on February 16; 1999 to Clerkin &Clerkin
for design services, in-the amount of $32, 300.0.0; and
WHE~AS,. additional design work is necessary ~in order to meet the expansion
design and minimum building. codes and -
WHEREAS, anadditional $30,000 are: needed to provide' the City with a ~ .
comprehensive design; and
. WHEREAS, City Council approval is required for the contract amendment. . ".
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the"City of Lynwood does.hereby find; +
proclaim; order and resolve as `follows: • . ~ _ '~
' ~ ~ . Section 1. That the Contract Amendment for Clerkin &. Clerkin in the.amount '
of $30,000.00 be approved.
Section 2. ~ That the City Manager is hereby authorized'to execute the Contract
Amendment between the City of Lynwood. and, Clerkin &Clerkin.
Section 3. " .This resolution shall"take effect immediately upon its adoption. -
