A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
' ~ OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
FUNDS TO HAVE A PHASE I
ENVIRONMENTAL SITE ASSESSMENT
AND BUILDING ASBESTOS SURVEY.
WHEREAS,'The City of Lynwood is currently in negotiations with
the Los Angeles County Fire Department, and '
WHEREAS, The draft agreement requires the City of Lynwood to
comply with the California Environmental Quality Act of 1970, and
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood must comply with the California
Environmental Quality Act of 1970, and
WHEREAS, The Phase I Environmental Site Assessment &
Building Asbestos Survey will be conducted, and
' WHEREAS, If subsequently required, a Phase II Site Assessment
would need to be requested, and
NOW.' THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF LYNWOOD DOES
HEREBY FIND, PROCLAIM, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. That the City of Lynwood shall have the Phase I Site
Environmental Assessment and Building Asbestos Survey conducted at both fire
stations and property.
ection 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to
transfer funds as follows:

Section. 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its adoption..
