RESOLUTION NO. 04-4290
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY MAKING PUBLIC BENEFIT FINDINGS AND APPROVING
SUPPORT FOR THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION OF
TEMPLE CITY HIGH SCHOOL
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City has been asked to recognize and participate in the 50th
anniversary celebration of Temple City High School; and,
WHEREAS, Temple City High School's 50th Anniversary Celebration will require financial support
from various sources, including the Temple City High School Alumni Association, the City of Temple City,
and others, to help finance the celebration festivities; and,
WHEREAS, on December 16, 2003, the City of Temple City donated $1,000 toward Temple City
High School's 50th Anniversary celebration activities; and,
WHEREAS, due to an existing shortfall in donations, the City is requested to consider a second
donation not to exceed $2,000 to sponsor the performance of Ronnie and the Classics for this event.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Temple City High School is a significant
milestone for the City at large, and a noteworthy event in the City's history; and,
SECTION 2. Such positive promotion is of general benefit to the City and its citizens; and,
SECTION 3. As a result of this anniversary, a second contribution in an amount not to exceed
$2,000.00 to sponsor the performance of Ronnie and the Classics is warranted and hereby approved.

No. 04 -4290, was duly passed, approved and adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a
regular meeting held on the 7th day of September, 2004 by the following vote:
