. RESOLUTION NO. 99.160
A RESOLUTION OF THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE-CITY OF LYNWOOD
AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN, MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL
SALARY SCHEDULES AND AUTHORIZING .
THE RECLASSIFICATION OF IDENTIFIED INCUMBENTS. TO
. ,APPROPRIATE CLASSIFICATION
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an Employee
. Classification and Position Plan and on occasion amends the plan as needed; and
' ,
WHEREAS, :the City "Council of the .City of Lynwood had' adopted a salary .
,~ _ resolution with salary schedules for Management and General Employees; and
;. WHEREAS, the City has. identified a need for the position descriptions of Fire
Marshall, Executive. Assistant and Administrative Assistant; and ,
WHEREAS, .classification statements have been prepared and reviewed by the
Personnel Board; and '
'WHEREAS;. Personnel Rules and Regulations, Rule IV, Section 4 '
Reclassification, provide for an employee to be allocated, to amore.-appropriate class
when the .duties of which have changed materially'so as to necessitate reclassifications;
and ~ ,
~: =NOW, THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby-find,
determine, order acid resolve as follows:
. ~ Section 1. Amend the Employee Classification Plan, Management and General
. Salary Schedules to ,include .new position descriptions and reclassify current position _•
incumbents as follows:
