No. 07 -50 Date of Adoption Februar 1, 2007 AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT FOR APPRAISAL SERVICES WITH MAURICE STACK- 43-45 AND 47 WASHINGTON AVENUE WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of specialized real estate appraisal and consultation services in connection with the appraisal of real properiy located at 43-45 and 47 Washington Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey; and WHEREAS, Maurice J. Stack, II of Stack Coolahan & Stack, Hoboken, New Jersey 07030, possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said . . , se,rvrces; and WHEREAS, Maurice J. Stack, II has submitted a proposal to provide said services at a total cost not to exceed $4,500.00; and WHEREAS, the Mayor and Council have reviewed said proposal; and WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer certifies that funds are or will be available for said purpose. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the BorQugh of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows: 1. The proposal of Maurice J. Stack for the specialized appraisal and consultation services in connection with the appraisal of real property located at 43-45 and 47 Washington Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey in the total amount not to exceed $4,500.00 is hereby approved; 2. Annexed hereto is a copy of said proposal; 3. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-5(1)(a) in accordance with the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.
