A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ALL AMERICAN ASPHALT, IN THE
AMOUNT OF $187,487.00 FOR THE MINNESOTA AVENUE, ALMA STREET,
BEECHWOOD AVENUE, VIRGINIA AVENUE, DUNCAN AVENUE AND ELM
STREET, STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 5-5199,
FISCAL YEAR 1999/2000
WHEREAS, the Minnesota Avenue, Alma Street, Beechwood Avenue, Virginia
Avenue, Duncan Avenue and Elm Street, Street Improvement Project, is scheduled for
~' completion within the 1999/2000 F.Y., and
WHEREAS, Minnesota Avenue, Alma Street, Beechwood Avenue, Virginia
Avenue, Duncan Avenue and Elm Street, Street Improvement Project is funded by
Community Development Block Grant funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on October 7, 1999, and All American
Asphalt, was the lowest resporisible bidder at $187,487.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check' has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does.hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:,
Section 1. That the contract for the Minnesota Avenue, Alma Street,
~' Beechwood Avenue, Virginia Avenue, Duncan Avenue, and Elm Street, Street
Improvement Project, Project Number 5-5199 be awarded to All. American Asphalt for its
low bid of $187,487.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and All American Asphalt..
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 19th day of October,-1999.
