Member Thomas Crosby introduced the following resolution
and moved its adoption:
CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 77_11
RESOLUTION EXCEPTING THE BURDICK DIVISION
WHEREAS, B. C. Burdick, unmarried, is the owner of real estate as
described on Exhibit A which is attached hereto and made a part hereof by
reference, said property being a single parcel of record prior to the 16th day
of March, 1976; and
WHEREAS, the said owner has made application to divide the property
as follows:
Parcel 1: See Parcel 1 which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof by reference;
Parcel 2: See Parcel 2 which is attached hereto and made a
part hereof by reference;
WHEREAS, the proposed divided parcels are served by public sanitary
sewer and water and the owner has requested a fair division of the special
assessments heretofore levied; and
WHEREAS, none of the property has previously been the subject of a
division of consolidation under this ordinance; and
WHEREAS, the proposed division will not create a need for additional
streets; and
WHEREAS, a survey of the property, a sketch of the proposed
division and a concise legal description have been filed as part of this application;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Medina as follows:
1. That the said division is excepted from the Platting Code
4. Existing special assessments for public improvements shall
be assigned as follows:
Parcel 1 ---$1, 006. 50 for sewer and $2, 447. 51 for water;
Parcel 2---$18, 009. 58 for sewer and $2, 077. 00 for water;
PROVIDED, HOWEVER, that this resolution shall be conditioned
the following requirements:
upon
1. The applicant shall obtain a land division from the Hennepin County Finance
Department consistant herewith.
2. The applicant shall pay administrative fees in the amount of $ 150.00
3.
4. No construction permits shall be issued for parcel 1 or parcel 2 until
compliance with the foregoing conditions has been demonstrated.
