RESOLUTION ACCEPTING PROPOSAL FROM
McMANIMON & SCOTLAND, LLC -
2007 BOND COUNSEL SERVICES
WHEREAS, in February 2007, the Borough of Carteret (the "Borough") issued a
Request for Proposals ("RFP") soliciting responses from legal firms to provide bond
counsel services to the Borough; and
WHEREAS, the RFP's were solicited pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance
with the provisions ofN.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5; and
WHEREAS, McManimon & Scotland, LLC, One Riverfront Plaza 4th Floor, Newark, NJ
07102 submitted a response to the RFP; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has reviewed the response submitted by McManimon &
Scotland, LLC and is desirous of approving McManimon & Scotland, LLC to provide
said bond counsel services;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Boroough
of Carteret as follows:
1. McManimon & Scotland, LLC, One Riverfront Plaza 4th Floor, Newark,
New Jersey 07102 is hereby approved to provide Bond Counsel Services to
the Borough pursuant to authorization by the Governing Body of the
Borough of Carteret.
2. This action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:ll-5(1)(a).
3. This award is pursuant to a fair and open process in accordance with
the provisions ofN.J.S.A. 19:44A-20.5.
4. This resolution shall take effect immediately.

and certified as a true copy of the
original on February 16, 2007.
