RESOLUTION NO. 2017-05-02
A RESOLUTION RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE DEVELOPMENT PERMIT FOR THE
FRASER STILL
At a public hearing at the regular meeting of the Fraser Planning Commission held on
May 24, 2017, Barry Young was present requesting approval of a development permit for a new
distillery to be constructed on property located at 410 N. Zerex Street.
WHEREAS, Youngs Real Estate Company LLC. is the current owner of said property
which is approximately 20,153 SF; and
WHEREAS, the owner is proposing to build a 4,850 SF building which will accommodate
a distillery and a restaurant;
WHEREAS, the proposed plans include many shared facilities between the Youngs and
the adjacent property owner to the east.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Fraser Planning Commission has voted
to approve the development permit for the Fraser Still with the following conditions:
1. Enter into an agreement with the adjacent property owner (currently Town of
Fraser) detailing the ownership and maintenance of all shared facilities including,
but not limited to: access drive, parking, snow storage, stormwater infiltration
basin, dumpster and signage.
2. A Construction Guarantee Agreement and security must be provided in
accordance with Town policies prior to building permit issuance.
3. Address all comments in the Bowman Consulting memo dated May 16, 2017.
4. Make a determination on the existing Town of Fraser garden. Preference is to
incorporate the plantings into the Fraser Still landscape plan.
