RESOLUTION NO. 05 -4313
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR A
CALIFORNIA OFFICE OF TRAFFIC SAFETY GRANT
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City is committed to the safety of its citizens; and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City supports working with community based organizations; and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City desires a multi - disciplinary approach to address traffic safety problems.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does hereby find, determine and order:
Section 1. The City Manager or his designee, is hereby authorized to take all actions necessary for the
purposes of securing grant funds and to implement and carry out the provisions specified in the California Office
of Traffic Safety Grant application including but not limited to the execution of applications, contracts,
agreements, amendments, and payment requests; and,
Section 2. The City Council expresses its support for programs to be funded by the grant, including:
educational /informational public outreach programs; bicycle safety; seat belt enforcement; DUI enforcement; and
courteous driver recognition programs; and,
Section 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED on this 18th day of January, 2005.

4313, was adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular meeting held on the 18th day of
January, 2005 by the following vote:
