1.EXECUTIVE SESSION (ROOM 211)
i. EXECUTIVE SESSION MINUTES (ACTION)
The Board will consider approving executive session minutes:
9/3/13, 9/17/13; 10/1/13; 10/22/13; 11/12/13
ii. CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS, LITIGATION AND REAL PROPERTY
●To discuss the litigation strategy with respect to the public records requests to
the Massachusetts Gaming Commission, because an open meeting may have
a detrimental effect on the litigation position of the Board;
●To discuss the deployment of security personnel or devices, or strategies with
respect to emergency communications and the 2014 Boston Marathon;
●To discuss strategies with respect to collective bargaining updates by the
Town Manager, because an open meeting may have detrimental effects on
the bargaining positions of the Board;
●To discuss considering the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property
in regards to a property on Lumber Street and Main Street, because an open
meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the
Board; and
●To discuss strategy with respect to litigation, because an open meeting may
have a detrimental effect on the litigation position of the Board.

6:45 PM BEAVER POPULATION (UPDATE)
4.The Board will review correspondence from Representative Dykema regarding
pending beaver-related legislation before the Joint Committee on Environment,
Natural Resources, and Agriculture.

6.The Board will consider approving a policy for this year’s 2014 Boston Marathon
Invitational Entries process.

7.The Board will consider designating school crossing guards as special officers.
8:00 PM PAVEMENT MANAGEMENT PROGRAM UPDATE (DISCUSSION)
8.The Board will hear a presentation from Fay, Spofford, and Thorndike on the Town’s
Pavement Management Program.
