April 30, 2020
Concerns regarding current case load and due dates were discussed.
Susan Berry Hill, Director, Planning and Zoning, advised that there were not any
pending cases. There will be three public hearings before the Planning Commission on
June 18th and included two Zoning Ordinance Text Amendments. One was initiated by
two local businesses to address doggie day care and catteries. Both business owners did
not have a problem with this being deferred to June. The second Zoning Ordinance
amendment deals with the Gateway Districts. The third public hearing will be for the
Loudoun County Public Schools Catoctin Elementary School Addition.
Vice Chair Faliskie moved that the Planning Commission adopt the potential revisions to
the calendar canceling the May meetings due to the COVID-19 virus.
Commissioner Barnes seconded the motion and the motion carried by a vote of 6-0-1
(Barney absent).
ADJOURNMENT: The meeting was adjourned at 7:45 PM.
