Councilmember Tom Crosby introduced the Following resolution and
moved its adoption.
WHEREAS the City of Medina has been requested by Hennepin County to corip_ider:
a North -South road, through Medina, connecting Highways 12 and 55,
and
WHEREAS the City of Medina has no thru North -South roadway, and
WHEREAS there is only one North -South, Hennepin Co. road (No. 19),
through the City of Medina, and
WHEREAS the City of Medina is desirous of developing a city-wide roadway
system, now
THEREr'ORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City of Medina requests that the Hennepin
County Public Works Department begin immediately to work with Medina
to study, and if feasible and desirable, to plan and construct a. '
North -South roadway, agreeable to both; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT copies of this resolution be forwarded to the
Board of County Commissioners, the Hennepin County Public Works
Director, A.J. Lee and Medina's representatives in the State
Legislature.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by
member Wm. Reiser. Jr, and upon vote being taken the following voted in
favor of: Wayne Neddermeyer, Tom Crosby, Arthur Theis, Wm Reiser, Jr..

The following voted against same: None
Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
