This was a meeting scheduled .. -- Ey,th67Council.• in order to discuss
the information which is to be mailed to all residents regarding the• -
proposed increase in the property tax levy bn the September 188 ballot.
Those Present were: Carson Wheeler, Lorraine Riede, Minor Life, Anne Mitchell,
and Courtney Thomas-Botham.
Carson [Wheeler asked that the date establishing the year when the general
property tax levy no longer met the cost of property related services he
determined. Lorraine Diede stated she had records which would s'ibw this.
The following schedule was established for the mailing of information:
8/1S/88 Milk mailing including information of source of revenue and
expenditure
9/2/88 - Notice of Public Hearing; or Public Meeting, as well as,
information on how -it will. affect individual. Rul.lc Mail
9/12/88 - Mail first class . Recap of major points, space for
questions to be brought with then to the public meeting.
9/1.4/8R - Riblic I -fearing or Meeting? 7:30 p.m. at Hants Point.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:52 p.m.
