RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH T & M
ASSOCIATES RE: PHASE li STORM WATER IMPROVEMENTS/2002
CONSTRUCTION
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional engineering
services in connection with the Phase 1I storm water improvements on Milik
Street; and
WHEREAS, Donald J. Norbut, P.E., C.M.E., of T&M Associates, has submitted
a proposal for the Phase II outfall replacement contract, along with the required
wetlands delineation and permitting required therefore and to provide contract
administration and inspection services for the same at a cost not toexceed
$14,750.00; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has reviewed the proposal of T & M
Associates and the Borough's Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are
available for said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows:
(1) The attached proposal from T&M Associates for the preparation of
the Phase II outfall replacement contract, wetlands delineation and
permitting, and contract administration and inspection services for
the completion of the required storm water system improvements
on Milik Street is hereby approved in an amount not to exceed
$14,750.00;
(2) This contract is awarded as a professional service pursuant to
N.J.S.A. 40A: 11-2(6).
Adopted this 20th day of September 2001
and certified as a true copy of the original on
September 21, 2001.
