RESOLUTION NO. 99-62
A RESOLUTION OF THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL RATIFYING THE
TRUCKEE FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT'S ADOPTION OF UPDATES TO
THE UNIFORM FIRE CODE
WHEREAS, the Truckee Fire Protection District, herein referred to as "District", is responsible
for structural fire protection within the Truckee Town boundaries, as well as the adoption of regulations
related to fire safety within their District; and
WltEREAS, the District recently adopted regulations implementing the Uniform Fire Code with
modifications; and
WItEREAS, State Law (Health & Safety Code Section 13869.7) requires the District to refer
such modifications to the Town of Truckee for review and consideration which may result in ratification,
modification, or rejection of the District's regulations.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE TRUCKEE TOWN COUNCIL that the
Town Council ratifies the amendments to the Uniform Fire Code and California Building Standards as
contained in the Truckee Fire Protection District's Ordinance No. 1-99, on file in the Town Clerk's Office
and the Truckee Fire Protection District.
The foregoing Resolution was introduced at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee Town Council,
held on the 4th day of November, 1999, by Councilmember McCormack, who moved its adoption, and
which motion was duly seconded by Councilmember Schneider, was upon roll call carried and the
Resolution adopted by the following vote:

Councilmembers Drake, Florian, McCormack, Schneider, and Mayor Susman
