RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH T & M ASSOCIATES
RE: MILIK ST. DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need specialized engineering services for
the desigm, construction and inspection associated with the storm water drainage
improvements and upgrades proposed as part of the rehabilitation of Milik Street
from Blair Road to Minue Street; and
WHEREAS, the Borough's consulting engineer, T & M Associates, has submitted a
proposal to provide said engineers services at a cost not to exceed $12,500.00; and
WHEREAS, the Governing Body has reviewed the proposal of T & M Associates,
and the Borough's Chief Financial Officer has certifies that funds are available for
said purpose.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows:
(1) The attached proposal from T & M Associates for the engineering
design and inspection costs associated with the proposed storm water
drainage improvements in conjunction with the rehabilitation of Milik
Street is hereby approved in an amount not to exceed $12,500.00;
(2) This contract is awarded as a professional service pursuant to N.J.S.A.
40A: 11-2(6).
Adopted this 20th day of September, 2001
and certified as a true copy of the original
on September 21, 2001.
