Home My Public Portal AboutResolution 05-43341 RESOLUTION NO. 05 -4334 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY UPHOLDING THE PLANNING COMMISSIONS ACTION AND APPROVING A ZONE VARIANCE TO ALLOW RECONSTRUCTION AND RE- ROOFING OF AN EXISTING 702 SQUARE FOOT LEGAL NON- CONFORMING LIVING QUARTERS AND TO ALLOW THE RECONSTRUCTION AND RE- ROOFING OF AN EXISTING STORAGE BUILDING (GARAGE) WHERE THE TWO BUILDINGS ARE LOCATED THREE FEET SIX INCHES APART RATHER THAN THE MINIMUM REQUIRED DISTANCE OF FIVE FEET AND DENYING A REQUEST TO CONSTRUCT A NEW TWO -CAR GARAGE IN THE R -1 ZONE AT 4917 BALDWIN AVENUE (LIN)(ZV -05- 1604) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: SECTION 1. Based upon information contained in the staff report to the City Council and information contained in the Planning Commission staff report as well as the Planning Commission minutes of March 8, 2005; and based upon testimony received at a noticed public hearing before the City Council on April 19, 2005, the City Council hereby upholds the Planning Commission action as set forth in Planning Commission Resolution 05- 2128PC. SECTION 2. Accordingly, Zone Variance 05 -1604 is hereby approved in part and denied in part as outlined and described in the Planning Commission Resolution; this action is based upon the findings and subject to the conditions as set forth in Planning Commission Resolution 05 -2128 PC.
