HomeMy Public PortalAboutLetter - Hotel McCall9-1-98 To: Brain Olson Andy Locke From: D. John Carey Following is a partial list of outstanding issues that need to be resolved between us in the near future. As you know, I will be unavailable until late October, but in the interim you have agreed to consider these issues and to have solutions available for discussion upon my return. 1. City to survey the site at Park and 3ra and to deed the unused property back to D. John Carey per agreement. 2. Formalize agreement for the three areas on Railroad Avenue that Carey landscaped. 3. Create an agreement for the landscaping in front of the Station Master's House on Railroad Avenue similar to item #2 above. 4. In the Railroad property agreement between D. John Carey and the City of McCall there are two issues to resolve: A. The City agreed to support and use best efforts to close a portion of East Lake St. to auto traffic. B. The City agreed to support and use best efforts to allow Carey to develop a 100-slip marina adjoining the Sports Marina. A sample lease was prepared by the City and is attached to the agreement. 5. What happens to the excess land created by the new Pine St. location? 6. The City has been using Railroad Avenue for winter snow storage. What are the City plans now? 7. The City and Carey should agree on a price for the excess dirt resulting from the construction of Railroad Avenue. In my absence, feel free to discuss these issues with Jack Marshall. We need to agree on a course of action and a time schedule this year. 1101 North Third Street · Post Office Box 1778 ® McCall, Idaho 83638 (208) 634-8105 ® FAX (208) 634-8755
