HomeMy Public PortalAboutLetter - FeersMcCALL CITY MANAGER June 18, 1996 Mr. Al Feers 13 Champlain Irvine, California 92720 Dear Mr. Feers: Over the last several months we have intermittently discussed the status of your property relative to the enhancement of Railroad Avenue here in McCall. Your property is currently divided by Railroad Avenue. A proposal has been adopted by the McCall Urban Renewal Agency to improve Railroad Avenue from local access to arterial. To expedite the completion of this project two properties have been identified for immediate acquisition by the Urban Renewal Agency. Your property is one of them. Our engineers have developed the alignment for the enhanced arterial, and we have determined that the remnants of your property after construction will be of limited developmental value. Therefore, after careful appraisal we have elected to purchase your property. A copy of the appraisal is included for your review. We would like to offer to purchase your property for the appraised price at this time. We believe that the value presented is fair, and that we need to proceed with all due diligence. Please take some time to review the appraisal and give me a call outlining your thoughts. I look forward to further discussing this development with you. Sincerely, Gary .
