RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A GRANT APPLICATION
FOR A BIKE PATH AT THE CARTERET MUNICIPAL WATERFRONT
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret desires to apply for and obtain a grant from the
Association of New Jersey EnvirolUnental Commission for approximately $20,000.00 for
a bike path at the Carteret Municipal Waterfront; and
WHEREAS, the Borough has agreed to contributing a matching amount of $20,000.00
towards the project.
BE IT THEREFORE RESOLVED,
1. That the Borough of Carteret does hereby authorize the application for such a
grant; and
2. Recognizes and accepts that the Depaliment may offer a lesser or greater amount
and therefore, upon receipt of the grant agreement from the Association of New
Jersey Environmental Commission, does further authorize the execution of any
such grant agreement; and also, upon receipt of the fully executed agreement
from the Department, does fmiher authorize the expenditure of funds pursuant to
the telms of the agreement between the Borough of Carteret and the Association
of New Jersey EnvirolUnental Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the persons whose names, titles, and signatures
appear below are authorized to sign the application, and that they or their successors in
said titles are authorized to sign the agreement and any other documents necessary in
connection therewith:
