A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN AGENT TO ACCEPT PENSION
LIABILITY ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE
WHEREAS, the Public Employees' Retirement Fund requests that each municipality
designate an individual to accept pension liability of behalf of that municipality; and
WHEREAS, Pamela S. Pierce, Deputy Clerk-Treasurer has been the primary contact
for the City of Greencastle with regard to employee benefits, and would be the appropriate
designee;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE Common
Council hereby authorizes Pamela S. Pierce, Deputy Clerk-Treasurer of the City of Greencastle to
to act on behalf of and in the name of the City of Greencastle as its agent to accept pension
liability, pursuant to I.C. 5-10.2-3-1, and further to execute and deliver documents related to the
Public Employees' Retirement Fund (PERF) of Indiana. This resolution shall remain in full force
and effect until modified or rescinded by subsequent resolution and receipt thereof in writing by
the Director of PERF.
