A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF 'LYNWOOD ESTABLISHING A TWO
HOUR PARKING RESTRICTION IN CITY OWNED
OFF STREET PARKING FACILITIES.

WHEREAS,, staff received complaints from business owner's pertaining to the
misuse of the off street parking facilities by other business owners; and
WHEREAS, the California Vehicle Code section 22519 states that local
authorities may restrict parking on any off street parking facility which it owns or
operates.
THEREFORE, City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, proclaim,
order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council establish the two hour parking limitation for
City and Redevelopment Agency owned off street parking facilities.
Section 2. That the City Council approve the installation of signs designating
the two parking restriction.
Section 3. That this resolution shalt go into effect immediately upon it
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 7 day of July, 1998.
