HomeMy Public PortalAbout26-2005-26 RESOLUTION NO. 2005-26 SOP!tED A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF PROPERTIES FOR PEOPLE PATHWAYS PHASE III WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle (City) has determined that it is necessary and in the public's interest to construct a pathway along Arlington and Albin Pond Roads and through certain other properties, connecting to the High School, hereinafter referred to as People Pathways Phase III; and WHEREAS, the City of Greencastle has determined that the property described in the attached legal descriptions is necessary in order to construct the pathway; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE Common Council hereby declares its official intent to purchase the property described in the legal descriptions, which are attached hereto and made a part hereof, for the public purpose of providing a public pathway.
