A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING FUNDING FOR THE 1998 LYNWOOD CITY PARK GRAND
RE-OPENING CELEBRATION.
WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood desires to offer a program to commemorate the
grand reopening of Lynwood City Park to be held upon completion of-the park
rehabilitation project; and .
WHEREAS, The completion of the park project is set for the middle of
September, 1998; and
WHEREAS, The "Grand Reopening" of Lynwood City Park was not originally
designated. as part of the slate of city. wide special events as designated in the 1998/99
fiscal year budget adopted by the City Council; and
WHEREAS, The City Council of the City of Lynwood has selected program
option # t which involves a budget of ~ t o , soo . o0
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to carryout any and
all necessary transactions as so ordered by this resolution.
Section 2. That a fund appropriation in the amount of
