A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FUNDING OF
PHASE I: HOMETOWN GREENCASTLE STEERING COMMITTEE
MARKETING PLAN
THROUGH THE GREENCASTLE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE
FROM INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS,the Hometown Greencastle Alliance,a group organized through the Greencastle
Chamber of Commerce, has requested Thirty-Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) in support of Phase
1: Hometown Greencastle Steering Committee Marketing Plan from the Industrial Development
Fund; and
WHEREAS, Hometown Greencastle Alliance distributed Requests for Proposal, selecting
four firms to interview; and
WHEREAS,after a great deal of consideration,the Alliance selected F2/Inc.to develop the
marketing plan for the City of Greencastle.
NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE through
its Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development, pursuant to IC 36-7-13-5, hereby
0011 approves the disbursement of Thirty-Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) from the Industrial
Development money market account to the Hometown Greencastle Alliance in support of Phase 1:
Hometown Greencastle Steering Committee Marketing Plan.
PASSED AND RESOLVED by the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial
Development at its regular meeting this 3rd day of January 2006.

WHEREAS,the Hometown Greencastle Alliance,a group organized through the Greencastle
Chamber of Commerce, has requested Thirty-Thousand Dollars($30,000.00)in support of Phase
1: Hometown Greencastle Steering Committee Marketing Plan from the Industrial Development
Fund: and
WHEREAS,the Hometown Greencastle Alliance distributed Requests for Proposal,selecting
four firms to interview; and
WHEREAS, after a great deal of consideration the Alliance selected F2/Inc. to develop the
marketing plan for the City of Greencastle; and
WHEREAS,the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development approves and
recommends to the City of Greencastle Common Council through its Resolution No. 2006-1 an
expenditure of monies of Thirty-Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) of funds from the Industrial
Development money market account in support of the Hometown Greencastle Alliance Phase 1:
Hometown Greencastle Steering Committee Marketing Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GREENCASTLE COMMON
COUNCIL approves the expenditure of$30,000.00 in industrial development fund monies.
