A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD DECLARING ITS INTENT TO CONDUCT
A PUBLIC . HEARING TO ASCERTAIN WHETHER A '
NUISANCE : TS OCCURRING ON CERTAIN REAL .
PROPERTY GENERALLY KNOWN AS 11403 LONG
' ~ - BEACH BL., LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA AND TO
DETERMINE IF THE BUSINESS LICENSE SHOULD BE

WHEREAS, the City Manager of the. City of Lynwood has recommended
', that the City .Council find that the existing business is operating in such a way as to be ,
considered a public nuisance; and •"`
. WHEREAS, the City Council may consider such violations, pursuant to
certain procedures set .forth in .Sections 3-13 and. 4-9.5 of the Lynwood Municipal Code; .

. ~ WHEREAS, the .conditions on this property that may constitute a
nuisance are:
1. Operations not allowed in the zone. ~ '
2. Said, operations contribute to .the increase of blight within the
surrounding area.

~ ~ NOW, THEREFORE,. the City Council of the City of Lynwood resolves
as follows: .
. Section 1. Based on the above referenced facts a_nd the
recommendation . of the. City Manager, this ~ Council finds and determines that the
. following described property and business may, presently be maintained and operated in
' -such a manner as-to constitute a nuisance. Such property is known as 11403 Long Beach
B1.,~Lynwood, California.
Section 2. The City Council declares its intention to conduct a public ,
hearing; pursuant to Sections 3-18.5 and 4-9.5 of the Lynwood Municipal Code to
determine whether the violations existing at the site merit abatement.
ection 3. The City Council hereby fixes the hour of 7:30 p.m.,
. August 18, 1998, as the time and date, and the City 'Council Chamber, ..1.1330 Bullis
. Road, Lynwood, as the place for said public hearing. ,
Section 4. Thea City Clerk is .authorized and directed' to notify Mr.
~: Carlos Casas of said complaint and the -proposed hearing date, as required under all
applicable provisions ofthee-Lynwood Municipal-Code.
