Called meeting February 20 1950
The meeting w called to •order by the Mayor at 8:20 P.M.
This meeting was called to read a rosalution to restrict the sale of
liquor to the retail (package) liquor store and the drug stores.which
were liquor licensed. as a petition had been presented,andd examied.
The resolution was read. those present being:Burruan,Burroughs,Kurtz,
MacKenzie & Widmai er.Patterson absent.
Widmaier moved,Burroughs seconded:To adopt the resolution to place
local option as read on a ballot in the town election April 4.A11
present voted aye.Motion carried.
This resolution is filled with the other resolutions and agreements
in the small safe of the townl�s,as was the petition

Regular meeting March 7 1950.
The meeting was called to order at 8:15 P.M.by Mayor Sivers.
Those present were:Baran,Burroughs,Kurtz,MacKenzie,Patterson and
Widmai er.
The clerk read the minutes of the regular meeting of Feb.7 and the called
meeting of Feb.20 which were approved as read.
A letter from Mr.Ware the marshal asked that the pool halls be closed
on Sunday. This was tabled.
Atty Houtchens sent up the notices of the election for the loyal option_
for and against the sale of liquor only to the retail liquor store
and licensed drug stores. •
A letter from the State Sanitation Department saying that the government
would furnished money without interest and without the return of the
money unless the town put in a sewer. This would be used only for a
survey for a sewer.The town had three year to aecideri.But if the town
did put in the sewer eithin that time then that would be added to the cost
of the -project and would have to be paid back.
Patterson moved,MacKenzie secoaded:That the clerk be impowered to have
the new addition surveyed b,.. the town surveyor and get the streets
graded and the light poles put in for that section.Mot iorl carried upon
roll call.
