1). What things are to be conceded to receive the piece
behind City Hall for no cost?
2). Why are we providing all parking for 22,000' of retail
space at our expense?
3). How can expenses in the Urban Redevelopment areas be
billed to other downtown property owners?
4). The City can not obligate itself to guarantee adequate
water & sewer hook-ups with current EPA situation or without
knowledge that other developments could use allocation
before Carey is ready. Who is paying for the lines, their
installation, hook-up fees, and use fees?
5). What is City's liability if there is a moratorium
imposed?
6). Purchase of Fears/Chapman property is not in
construction costs of $1 million plus.
7). Do not support vacating any of E. Lake St. Use it for
local parking and traffic at Legacy Park.
8). Marina use is not allowable since land was given for
public use and access of Parks and Rec. useage. If given to
one for commercial use the public use is eliminated.
9). Roadway Design is paid by City and should not require
any approval by MGSI. If design is not agreed to by MGSI
and signed the plan can not go forward.
10). Parking: How can City staff agree to a parking
variance and change in ordinance before its written and
without due public process?
11). City currently does not pay for collectors in a
Subdivision, why are we paying for this one?
12). Road building can be done by Carey and billed to
City --City cannot open its checkbook to private citizens
must maintain right to reject any and all bids.
