RESOLUTION OF THE BOROUGH OF CARTERET NEW JERSEY
APPROVING THE 2007-2008 CDBG PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has been allocated $101,700.00 from the Middlesex County
Housing and Development Program for the 2007-2008 CDBG year; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held on Friday, Febmary 16, 2007 to solicit comments and
recon~mendations from the residents of the Borough of Carteret; and
WHEREAS, the Conm1llnity Development Board has had the opportunity to discuss the proposals with
the Mayor and Council and representatives to the Middlesex County Housing Community Development
Program; and
WHEREAS, it is the consensus of the Community Development Board that the following programs meet
the gU,idelines of the Citizen's Participation List of Eligible Activities:
2007 Carteret CDGB Proposal
2006 Carteret CDBG Projects
Using Agency
Micro Loan Program

WHEREAS, the above programs were unanimously approved by the COlllli1llnity Development Board at
the Public Hearing.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the Borough of Carteret
hereby consent to the submission of the above named proposals.
