The meeting was called to order/at 8:10 P.M.byMayor Kurtz.
Burman,Burroughs,Robinson,Schulz,Widmiaer & Wood,were present.
The clerk read the minutes of the regular meeting pf May 2 which were minym
approved. as read.
The Mayor spoke to the Board about the need of a gas ordinance so twat
it would be controlea as it should be.The clerk was instructed to write
some small towns to get what they had done about an ordinance.
cement & Asbestos pipe picture was shown by the Johns Mansvilie 00.
and showed the installing of the pipe.The bids for the pipe and
laying of the same in the new addition were read as follows
Lester hotaling's bids was:
150 # Cast iron pipe with Mechanical joint 3798.97

Bu -roughs moved,Schulz seconded: That the raid of Lester totaling for
Transite pipe and labor for the new addition be accepted.Motiin carried.
Bu.rian moved,Widmaier seconded:Than the application of Dick Curtis for
a license tb sell licuor by the etink be refused.Motion carried.
There were 5 ayes and 1 no.
The installin: of a light in the nroth end of town was to be investigated
Buroughs moved,Burman seconded:To adjourn subject to the call of the
Mayor.Motion carried..

June 6 1950
The meeting was called to order at 8:15 P._ by mayor r urtz.
All members were present:Burman,Burroughs,Robinson,Schulz,widmaier & Wood.
The minutes of the regular meeting of May 8 which were approveaas read.
Kay Martinusen had substituted for Sherman Woods two nights only part
of the time and Behnepf had f inish':.d the time out so it was eec ided to
pay Martinusen and let him set ,le with Schnepf.
Mr. Good of the Greeley Gas Co. was called at his home and he s sated teat he
would be glad to meet with t4he board. on June 9.to discuss the proposed
gas ordinance. There was an invitation fron the Municipal league to attend
their meeting at oveland June 8-9-10.
Widmaier moved,Burmen seconded:To grant a renewal of the beer license of
B.B.Bell for one year.Motion carried.
There were some complaint about chickens running at large and Wm.Riedels
dog tearing up flowers. The clerk was asked to see the people about the
chickens and the marshals were tb see Wm.Riedel about his dog.

the amounts.Motion carried.
Burman moved, Wood seconded:To notify the people of town through the paper
that the town was not going to have clean up days but that the people would
have to pay their own hauling.Motion carried.
Widmaier moved,RRbinson seconded:To adjourn subject to the call of the Mayor
