Mayor Kurtz called the meeting to orde ' at 8:10 P.L.
Burman,Bu °roughs,Robinso.n,Schulz & Wood present. 4idmaier absent.
The clerk read the : inutes of th r_:: uld r rneetiri; of July 6 which
were approved as read.
The board asked the clerk too get quotations of the instulation of gas
haters in the toein hall and gas conversation in the library.
A letter from Warner jo.state that the cost of changing th- oil
lubricateu pump in the; old pump house to a water lubricated pump
would be around 300.00. "she Union Pacific . n. had sent an
agreement for diLing a pipe trench along t 1 sir right-of-way to be
signed. The agreement called for 5.00 per year .1.or the permission.
The clerk was instructed to send statem.entsto the different companies
who are putting gas into the houses in town.The controlling of 3.2'f
in town on Sunday,was to be looked up by tale judiciary comeittee.
There was a comp1 int about Mr.Shively having a fly infested back
yard.This was to be reported to the health depart;1ent.by the clerk/
