AN ORDINANACE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2003 -10
AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF DEPARTMENTS OF CITY
GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA, FIXING SALARIES
FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND FIXING THE SALARIES
OF CERTAIN OTHER APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR OF 2004
BE IT ORDAINED AND ADOPTED BY THE Common Council of the City of
Greencastle, Indiana that Ordinance 2003 -10 "An Ordinance Establishing the Size of City
Government of the City of Greencastle, Indiana, Fixing Salaries for the Employees of
Such Departments and Fixing the Salaries of Certain Other Appointed Officials for the
Year 2004" is hereby amended as follows:
SECTION SEVEN: That the Sewage Department shall pay to the City
Attorney of the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the City Attorney on
behalf of the Sewage Department during the year 2004 the sum of Thirteen
Thousand and Fifty Dollars ($13,050.00).
SECTION EIGHT: That the Department of Water Works shall pay to the
City Attorney of the City of Greencastle for services rendered by the City Attorney
on behalf of the Department of Water Works during the year 2004 the sum of
Seventeen Thousand Two Hundred Dollars ($17,200.00).
SECTION NINE: That the salaries of certain other appointed officials of the City
of Greencastle shall be as follows:
C5 — City Attorney $34,750.00 +longevity
C5 — City Engineer $ 7,000.00 $21,216.00 +longevity
C4— Assistant Engineer $35,000.00 +longevity
C5 — Full -Time Building Inspector $16,000.00 $25,000.00 +longevity
C5 — City Planner $27,000.00 $37,400.00 +longevity
C4 — Deputy Clerk - Treasurer $11,150.00 $12,000.00 +longevity
C3 — CT Secretary/Bookkeeper $19,700.00 $20,700.00 +longevity
Part-Time Bookkeeper (I @ $9.00hr x 600hrs)$ 5,400.00
C3 — City Hall Secretary (1 @ $9.90hr x 832 hrs) $ 8,237.00
Administrative Asst. (1 @ $11.75hrx 1248hrs)$14,664.00
Approximate Longevity Total $ 400.00
The foregoing was passed and adopted by the Common Council of the City of
Greencastle at its Regular meeting on this day of A, 6 ,, 2004.
