Mayor Kurtz called the meeting to order. at 4 P.M. to make the 1951 tax
levy.
Burman,Burroughs,Robinson,Schulz & Wood' present. ,Wimai rabsent.
Robert Anareosn the town auditor,pr sentea the 1901 budget and also the
tax levy. The county assessor had written that the town could not levy
more than 12.19 mills but as this would not be enough for town expenses
the auQitor was asked to write the State tax co mission fora raise in
the levy.
Burman moved,Robinson seconded:To adopt the resolution as read and a-.sess
the following levy...otion carried upon roll call.

RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUST :LS OF THE T0,,N OF AULT,WELD COUNTY,
COLOR . O:
That the 1951 budget,a copy of whichis hereto annexed and made
a part of the minutes of this meeting,be and the same is hereby adopted
as the Budget for the Town of Ault for t year of 1951; teat the Mayor
and Town Clerk be and they are hereby directed to file with the Colorado.
Tax Commission an application of the Town of Ault requesting authority to
increase the total mill levy this year for general purposes to 16.3 mills,
this being an increase of 4.11 mills above the maximum levy allowaile
without Colorado Tax Commissionauthority and .4 mill above the previous
year levy of 15.9; that as soon as the Colorado Tax Commission has acted
upon such application the Mayor and Clerk of the Town of halt are hereby
directed to mile notice Of tax levy for the year of 1951 with the assessor
of weld County, Colorado.
Passed by the Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault,Colorado
this 13th day of October 1950.

Parks .63 mills
Library- .70 mills
Streets & Alleys 3.58 mills
Cemetery .32 mills
