AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CITY OF MOAB OFFICIAL ZONE MAP
WHEREAS, the Governing Body of the City of Moab and the Moab City Planning
Commission desire to make zone amendments to promote the health, safety, morals,
convenience, order, prosperity, and general welfare of the present and future inhabitants
of the City;
WHEREAS, Patrick Rippee, the owner of record of a 5.27-acre tract of land located at
the above described address, has applied to change the zoning on a 1.76 acre portion of a
5.27-acre tract of property from RA-1 to R-3; and,
WHEREAS, The Planning Commission of the City of Moab held a public hearing on
January 24 and February 14, 2008, concerning the amendment of the City of Moab
Official Zone Map to reflect a zoning change from RA-1 to R-3 for property located at
153 Nob Hill Drive.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City of Moab that effective upon the
signing of this Ordinance, the City of Moab Official Zone Map with its amended
boundary lines and zone changes shall be declared to be an official record of the City and
shall be included as a part of Title 17 of the Moab Municipal Zoning Ordinances and
shall reflect a zone change from RA-1 to R-3 for property located at 153 Nob Hill Drive.
Passed and adopted by action of the Governing Body of the City of Moab in open session
this 26th day of February, 2008.
