CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. %�_ / yL
RESOLUTION VACATING CITY PARK LAND AT
HOLY NAME LAKE, HENNEPIN COUNTY
WHEREAS, the City Council has received a Petition signed by at least
a majority of the owners of property abutting the said park which is described
on Exhibit A and attached hereto, and by the owners of at least 50% of the abut-
ting land area; and
WHEREAS, the said petition requests that the park described on Exhibit
A be vacated; and
WHEREAS, on March 21, 1978, the City Council conducted a public hear-
ing on the question of the said park vacation, following two weeks published and
posted notice of said hearing; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the park described on Exhibit A
is no longer needed for public purposes and that the vacation of the said park
is beneficial to the public interest;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Medina that the land described on Exhibit A be and the same is hereby vacated
as a public park and that all public rights in said land heretofore vested, are
hereby waived.
