A RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 2008-21 APPROVING FUNDS FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF IVY TECH COMMUNITY COLLEGE
WHEREAS,the Common Council for the City of Greencastle passed Resolution 2008-21,a
Resolution Approving Funds for the Construction of IVY Tech Community College; and
WHEREAS,the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development(CACFID)passed a similar
Resolution,creating matching opportunities for local businesses,industries and entities wishing to contribute to
the success of the project.
WHEREAS,due recent changes in the economy,the Common Council and CACFID wish to extend the
length of time that the matching program will be available.
NOW THERFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Common Council of the City of Greencastle hereby
amends Resolution 2008-21 as follows:
a. Item 4 shall be amended to read,"Payment to IVY Tech Community College shall be capped at a
maximum of $100,000 per year, until the full amount of the match is reached or until the
termination of the program as set out in Item 5,below."
b. Item 5 shall be amended to read, "The matching fund program shall terminate five years from
October 7,2008,the date CACFID passed,Resolution 2008-2,its original resolution funding the
program."
All other terms and conditions of Resolution 2008-21 shall remain in full force and effect.
