COMMON COUNCIL
CITY OF GREENCASTLE, INDIANA
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FUNDING OF THE
GREENCASTLE/PUTNAM COUNTY DEVELOPMENT CENTER
FROM INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, the Greencastle/Putnam County Development Center, Inc., continues to play
a key role in assisting, retaining,and attracting new business and industry to the community; and
WHEREAS,a matching grant of Forty-thousand Dollars($40,000)from the interest earned
on the Industrial Development Fund is needed to fund the Greencastle/Putnam County Development
Center, Inc., for 2009; and
WHEREAS, the Citizens Advisory Commission for Industrial Development approves and
recommends to the City of Greencastle Common Council through its Resolution No. 2009-2 an
expenditure of monies of Forty-thousand Dollars($40,000)for the year 2009 from the interest earned
on the Industrial Development Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE GREENCASTLE COMMON
COUNCIL approves the expenditure of$40,000.00 in industrial development fund monies.
