Called meeting April 20 1951.
The meeting was ac Ilea by Mayor Kurtz at 8:30 AM. at the town park
so as to meet with the school board to discuss the Tana need for the new
grade school and where the lines of the town were along the south side
of the park.Burman,Burroughs,kobinson, & Wood present.S::hulz & iyiamaier
absent.
The school board spoke of changin; the curved road to a straight road.
as the building would come across the present road.No one semed know
where the lines were and it was dacided to have another meeting of ter
the aeeds were examineu.Ater coming back to the town hail the matter of
selling the lot on the south sine of the street which the school ad
leased and nave the school farm shop on. This was lot 9 , blk. 1 IVcGlenn

This joint meeting of tae town baord aria the school board was called to
order at 8:20 F.L. ay Mayor �ar Lz to finish tale a scussion acout the test
matter to cna age tyre road around tae park as it was founca to oe on
school property.The road on the west siae of the park was on the town
property.
Bur:nan,Burroughs,Aobinson,achuiz ana v ooa present. Wiamaier absent.
Supt.Muth of the school told the board taat the builain would not be
straight north and south but would line up with the road which is
a correction line.It was suggested to close the road going west as
taat would stop speeders going around the park as tney were a hazard to
the children going to aid from school.
After some discussion the school board left the meetinglt was reported
that the school offered 250.00 for lot 10, blip. 1 kcGienn audition.
This lot has been purchased by the town wlong with lot 9 from
James `VV'.and Thomas McGlenn by Warranty deed dated November 26 1806
for. the purpose of erecting a town halifor the Town of Ault ,but later
the town bought a building for a town hall in its present location;
that said lots had never beenused or set aside for park purposes and tha
that they were no longer needed by the Town of Ault for any purpose$.
It was there -upon moved by Trustee Burman and seconded by Trustee
Schulz:That said lot/ 10 ,B1k.1,McGlenn audition to the Town of Ault
Weld County, ana State of Colorado be Bohehed to, the School Li trict r/
34 in the Joutty of veld State of ;olorado,upon payment of 0 250.00
to the Town of Ault representing the sale price of lot 10, the p.nrchase
price of Lot 9 having heretofore been paid to the Town of Twit on
1948, and that the Mayor and Town Clerk be authorized to
excute a deed of conveyance to properly effectuate the transfer of
title.Upon roll call Trustees Jurman,Buroughs,iiobinson,Schulz & Wood
voted aye and no tristees voted nay."'idr crier absent.MoLion was declairea

There was an application from Gene Noyes of LaSalle for the job of
day m.a shal.No action was taken.
There was some discussion about who should redorate the libaray base-
ment.The Lions club has been asked to do this but tney objected as ot_ier
were using the room too.

The minutes of the regular meeting of Apri13 ana called meetings of
April 12-20-25 were read and approved as read.
The communications were read and filed as There was notnin. 01 importance
to answer.
Mr.Noyes of LaSalle who applied for the job as marshal withdrew his
application.
A plumbing ordinance of Eaton was read but dt was decided not to have
one drawn up for a.ult, as it might be too complicated.
