A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE AEPROPRIATION OF FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS
($4,000.00) FROM THE UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND ~BALANCE FOR
THE CONDUCTION OF A WINTER YOUTH BASEBALL LEAGUE
~ ~ WHEREAS, The City of Lynwood has conducted a very successful Youth
! ~ Baseball Program on an annual basis since the early 1950's; and
-~ ~ W~IEREAS, The City of Lynwood is planning on reopening the
. redesigned and.rehabilitated`Lynwood City Park in September, 1998; and
WHEREAS, The City Council is very desirous of expanding our Youth
Baseball Program to include a WinterLeague to be conducted during the months of
September through portions of November; and
. WHEREAS, This was not a program identified as part of the adopted
budget for the 1998/99 fiscal year;, and
"WHEREAS, This program will involve ($4,080.00) in staff which.are not
,. identified as being covered through registration fees;.concession sales activities or related
. fund raising efforts. ,
NOW, THEREFORE,_The City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim,, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Manager. or his designee is authorized to carryout
any and all necessary transactions as so ordered by this resolution. -

Section 2. That a fund appropriation m the amount of four thousand .
dollars {$4,000.00) be executed as follows:
