` ~ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ~ '
' CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION '
PLAN, MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL EMPLOYEES' -
. ~ SALARY SCHEDULES. .
. ':WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted an Employee
Classification and Position Plan and amended same as needed;- and ~ ~ ~ ~ "
• `...WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a salary resolution with
~' ,salary schedules including Management and General salary schedules; and - ~ .
. WHEREAS, the City has identified a need for the inclusion of new position statements,
~ ~retitiing and/or amending existing classifications; and

{ ~ WHEREAS; the required job analysis has been completed and a classification statement
prepared on that basis; and ,
` WHEREAS, the Personnel Board has reviewed the new classifications and
~- - changes to some existing position statements/job, titles.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
determine, order and resolve as follows: ~ -
` Section 1. Amend the .Employee Classification. and Position Plan and appropriate salary.
schedule to .reflect the following:
. Public Information Officer - - 40M $3,099 - $3,769
Right-of-Way Maintenance Supervisor 41M• $3,176 - $3,862
Senior Lifeguard Hourly $9.'16 - $11.50 _ 4
Asst. Dir. of PW/Engineering Svcs. S4M $4,365 - $5,316
" /Facility Maintenance ~ 54M $4,365 - $5,316
~" - " /Utility Services S4M $4,365 - $5,316
' ~ Water Billing Manager ~47M $3,677 - $4,472
"' Community'Development Asst. Dir. S6M $4,587 - $5,586

Section 2. Amend the Employee Classification and Position Plan and appropriate salary
' ~ schedule for current position statements as follows: 1
Change'job title for Assistant Director of Parks and~Recreation to Assistant Director of "
Recreation and Community Services with a salary.level of $4,365 to $5,316 (54M).
` . Change job-title of Aquatics Director to Aquatics Supervisor at current salary.
. Change current Laborer position description to include minor language changes. consistent •
with the City's organization changes at current;salary level.. ~ -
Change ;current Recreation & Community Services Director and `the Director of Finance to -
the salary level of $5,316 to $6,478 {62M).
Section 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption. ~ '
