CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 7.8-24
RESOLUTION DECLARING THE ADEQUACY OF A PETITION AND ORDERING
THE PREPARATION OF A REPORT REGARDING MEDINA MORNINGSIDE
IMPROVEMENTS
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Medina has received a
petition requesting certain Public Improvements from the owners of
land in Medina Morningside, Medina Morningside First, Second, and
Third Additions, and land adjacent thereto, which petition has been
duly signed and placed on file by the City Clerk;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Medina, Minnesota as follows:
1. That certain petition requesting storm sewer, sanitary sewer,
water improvement, and street restoration in Medina Morningside,
Medina Morningside First, Second, and Third Additions, and land adjacent
thereto, and presented to the City Council on the Fifth day of July,
1978, is hereby declared to be signed by the requisite number of owners
of property affected thereby, said declaration being made in conformity
with Minnesota Statutes, Section 429.035.
2. The petition is hereby referred to McCombs -Knutson Associates,
Inc., City Engineers, who are instructed to report to the Council with
all convenient speed, advising the Council in a preliminary way as to
whether the proposed improvements are feasible and as to whether they
should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other
improvement which is recommended, together with the estimated cost thereof.
3. All references to the procedures taken with respect to the said
improvement under Chapter 429 of Minnesota Statutes shall hereafter be
referred to as Medina Morningside Improvements.
4. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause this
resolution to be published once in the Official Newspaper of the City.

The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded
by member William Reiser and, upon vote being taken thereon, the following
voted in favor thereof:Theis, Reiser, Neddermeyer, Laurent
Absent: Thomas Crosby
and the following voted against the same; None
whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted.
