RESOLUTION NO. 05 -4368
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE
CITY PURSUANT TO SECTION 3582.0 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE
IMPLEMENTING A FEE FOR USE OF THE CONCESSION STAND AT
LIVE OAK PARK AND A DEPOSIT FOR THE USE OF THE ATHLETIC
FIELDS AND /OR CONCESSION STAND AT LIVE OAK PARK
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the City Council has established guidelines for setting fee schedules for the City's
recreational fee and charge programs; and
WHEREAS, the City currently offers recreational facility rental as part of its fee and charge services
including reserved use of the concession stand and athletic fields; and
WHEREAS, the City of Temple City incurs costs resulting from public utilization of park facilities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to recover certain costs associated with public utilization of park
facilities; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of a fee and deposit schedule for the rental of City facilities is
consistent with the City Council's direction; and
WHEREAS, the City has for many years requested reimbursement from organizations utilizing the
concession stand by estimating the actual costs and invoicing users accordingly;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City does hereby resolve, determine and
order as follows:
SECTION 1. Pursuant to section 3582.0 of the Temple City Municipal Code relating to facility rental
and permit fees, the following fees and deposits shall apply:
A. Fees for use of the concession stand
Temple City American Little League $500 /month
Temple City American Youth Soccer Organization $200 /month
Temple City Youth Football $275 /month
Fees shall be prorated for partial months.
B. Deposit for reserved use of the athletic fields and /or concession stand
$500 security deposit
The security deposit shall be returned at the conclusion of the use period if the following
conditions are met:
• the facilities have been left in a satisfactory condition as determined by staff
• no City property is missing or damaged
• all invoices have been paid
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage and adoption of this resolution.
